 3 Functions and features
In connection with a temperature probe the unit monitors the system temperature
in machines and plants.
Connectable temperature probes:
• Temperature sensors TM, TS, TT.
• Resistance thermometer RTD (Pt 100 or Pt 1000).
The unit detects the connected sensor type and configures itself accordingly.
4 Function
• The unit converts the measured signal into a temperature-proportional analogue
signal: 4...20 mA at [OU2] = [I] / 20...4 mA at [OU2] = [Ineg].
• The analogue signal can be scaled. Factory setting → 10 Technical data.
• In addition, the unit provides the measured signal via IO-Link.
• The unit is laid out for fully bidirectional communication. So, the following options
are possible:
--Remote display: reading and displaying the current system temperature.
--Remote parameter setting: reading and changing the current parameter setting.
